Product information "Nepenthes pulchra (Mt. Kinabalian, Mindanao, Philippines)"
A Nepenthes species rarely offered commercially. This giant was first described in 2011 by Mt Kiamo in the Philippines. "Pulchra" means "beautiful"
Nepenthes pulchra grows quickly and without major problems. On Mt. Kiamo, the species was found at 1300-1800 m.a.s.l., thus preferring intermediate conditions.
The ground cans grow up to 35 cm in size and are almost completely intensely red in colour. Externally, a delicate marbling of the pitchers is recognisable. The inside of the pitcher is light with a purple tinge. The tall pitchers can grow up to 40 cm in size and are very narrow, funnel-shaped with a spherical base.
