Special form of this species with reddish leaves and exceptionally large pitchers. The Bandahara form is very popular in the hobby due to the large pitchers and the exceptionally wide peristome.
Again, the spectacular color contrasts in the striped peristome and spotted pitcher that are characteristic of this species.
Due to its high altitude location at 1400-2200 m.a.s.l., this species is perfect for high altitude setups where it begins to vine early and showcases the beautiful, slender upper pitchers.
