This is a great hybrid for any hobbyist, from beginner to advanced grower. The beautiful species N. hamata leaves this hybrid with a toothed and ribbed peristome, usually found on more expensive hybrids. The pitcher bodies look very hamata-like, but have a more pronounced hip and no hairs on the lid. The peristome is much wider than in Nepenthes hamata due to N. ventricosa and the hybrid is much less fragile and sensitive than N. hamata.
